Their tongue grab attack has got quite the ridiculous reach and don't even get me started on their poison AOE attack, it can send your soldiers into a panicked state too. Vipers: Bloody hell, those snake aliens can cause a lot of trouble if you're not careful. These things can really mess your troops up when encountered, especially with how they split into two when hurt and teleporting around.Īnd then we have also that rather nasty psy-like ability they have that causes weapons to malfunction AND creates a field that explodes when its the enemy's turn after you finish yours. ![]() Oh boy, they weren't that big of a threat in Enemy Unknown, but now they've become a seriously annoying one with their enhanced psionics, especially the one that lets them reanimate corpses of anyone killed on the field.Īnd there's of course the attack that makes your troops panic, although it might backfire on the Sectoid and its comrades as most might already know.
